The Messiah Seth Rollins has been in a rivalry with Rey Mysterio and his family since the month of May. Dominik Mysterio, Aalyah Mysterio, and Murphy were added to the storyline over the months.
However, it now looks like the storyline will end post Survivor Series. According to Ringside News, Seth Rollins will take time off post the PPV for the birth of his baby. Lynch announced her pregnancy back in May, giving up her Raw Women’s Championship.
The length of the break is not yet clear, and we don’t know when Seth Rollins will be back. However, it is speculated he won’t be back until the new year.
Rollins is a part of Team SmackDown at Survivor Series in the brand vs brand battle. Lynch is due to deliver their baby in December or early January, but the couple hasn’t announced the exact date.
The Messiah has always been a very loyal and sincere worker. He has never taken a major sabbatical unless it’s due to injury. However, this time, it is a different reason. Before Survivor Series, Rollins has one last chance to settle some old business.
Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio lock horns on SmackDown to end the final chapter
SmackDown announced a final chapter match on the blue show following the reports of Seth Rollins’ leave emerging. Seth Rollins will square off against Rey Mysterio in a no holds barred match.
This certainly gives signs of the rivalry ending as Murphy is in Rollins’ corner and Aalyah in Rey’s corner just like before. If the reports of Rollins taking a break are true, it looks like Mysterio will win tonight.
Post this match, no one knows the future of the Mysterio family and Murphy. Dominik and Murphy might get into a rivalry. It is also possible the two Superstars will go separate ways for some time, scrapping the Aalyah- Murphy love story angle.
