Novak Djokovic is one of the best players to ever grace the tennis court. In fact, he might be the best player in the world today.
However, to build the perfect player, you need to have the best of everyone. Each tennis player is good at a particular aspect of the game and can do it better than others.
Imagine if there was one tennis player who had the best qualities of everyone. The Serb revealed which qualities he’d take from which player in the creation of this athlete.
What Did Novak Djokovic Say?
The first question he was asked was about forehand. Novak was quick to take the name of his arch-rival Rafael Nadal.
“That would be Nadal. Obviously, one of the best forehands in the game of all time. So much topspin means a very heavy ball, he can hit it flat as well. He can hit it from various corners or spots on the court. Inside, also far back, and it’s a very consistent weapon that he uses to create pressure on the opponent but also, to defend well and get back into the point.”
On the question of backhand, Novak picked Belgian star, David Coffin.
“Backhand, I would probably go to DavidDavif Goffin. His two-handed backhand, I like very much. He’s pretty flat, which means that he likes to take the ball quite early, which allows him then to dictate the play. He doesn’t miss so much from the backhand. Also has a very natural swing and preparation from the court.”
Novak revealed that he believes that the Canadian pair of Denis Shapovalov and Felix Auger Aliassime are the most talented players in the world. He credited their professionalism and dedication for the same. According to Novak, they have very bright futures ahead.
Let’s see what his answer was on the player with best physical abilities-
“Monfils, he can do splits, he can slide, he can jump. He’s very dynamic, he’s very strong. He’s the perfect athlete.”
The most amazing answer was on the question of best serve. Novak named one of his biggest adversaries Nick Kyrgios as the best serving player.
“He’s got an amazing serve. Obviously, very natural motion for the serve. Very hard to read, so regardless of the surface, he has a very powerful serve.”
You would be wondering if Novak named himself on one of the aspects. The answer is yes and it is for the most expected one. He gave his name for the best return and we couldn’t agree more. Novak has one of the most monstrous returns in the world. This helps him break the serve of some of the best players.
He picked doubles stars Herbert and Mahit for the best vollies. Particularly, Mahut was his choice.
Footwork was one question where he named a combination of players. This included Goffin, Nadal, himself and Felix. The reason being lightness of feet.

Jelena Djokovic insists she misses her privacy amid marriage scrutiny after no-show in Novak’s Australian Open 2020 win
NOVAK DJOKOVIC’S wife Jelena has spoken about the challenges of living in the public eye after she failed to attend the Australian Open last month.
The 33-year-old was a no-show in Melbourne as her husband claimed his eighth Grand Slam title Down Under in a five-set thriller against Dominic Thiem.
Jelana – who also missed Wimbledon last year after looking after their two young children – has revealed she struggles with the public attention she gets as a result of her husband.
She has claimed that being criticised for the way she looks had a negative effect on her, with social media also putting a strain on her life.
Speaking to Vesti-Online about living in the spotlight, she said: “When you are young, the spotlight and attention certainly feel comfortable.
“At first, the experience does not alarm you because it can bring you some difficulties. We look at public figures and think that kind of publicity is okay.
“But as time goes on, you lack anonymity, you lack the privacy to be able to do whatever you like at any time, in any situation.
“I try to resist all these expectations to always be myself and for Novak to be able to be himself.”
Addressing comments made about her, she added: “That is probably why I am being criticised by the public ‘why didn’t I wear makeup’ or ‘why wasn’t I always wearing heels’.
