LeBron James celebrated two of the most influential figures in his life this past Mother’s Day. He honoured his wife and mother, respectively via a post where he referred to them as “Queen” and “Guardian.”
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, which has caused all sporting events to be postponed, LeBron has shifted his focus to spending time with his family. He’s always been a family man and has consistently shared how much love he has for his kids online.
Savannah Brinson, his wife whom he shares three children with, is not an exception, and a few hours ago, the Lakers star honoured her with a touching post.
He posted adorable pictures that showed the couple during outings and took out time to express himself via the caption. He wrote:
“Happy Mother’s Day, Queen!! … You’re truly a blessing in my life!! Love you eternally 11.11.”
After regarding his woman as Queen, the basketball player recognized his “Mama” in another upload. Both mother and son maintained a close distance in the images shared.
The duo said their “I dos” in a lavish ceremony in 2013, two years after their engagement.
For LeBron, his mother holds a special place in his heart and in the post, after calling her “Guardian,” the sports star added “My Life.”
Amid the fame and popularity, he has managed to keep his family life free of scandal and away from the prying eyes of the media. Both LeBron and Savannah also share a love story that dates back to high school. Speaking to a news source, he said:
“We have been down since high school. Savannah was with me shooting in the gym when I had absolutely nothing.”
In their ride or die love affair, the NBA player revealed that his beau contributed to his numerous achievements. The duo said their “I dos” in a lavish ceremony in 2013, two years after their engagement.
Before becoming husband and wife, they were first parents. In 2004, they welcomed their first son, LeBron Jr., and Bryce Maximus, their second son, was born in 2007. Their only girl and last child, Zhuri joined the family some few months after their wedding.
According to LeBron, Savannah is continuously involved in the lives of their children, especially when he’s away. Similarly, his mother was involved in his life as a younger man.
The Lakers star admitted in an interview that he’d wronged his mother for screaming at her to be calm during games. He explained that being a parent only made him appreciate his mom’s efforts the more.
