And as Serena Williams strolled on the beach in Miami on Monday, she showed off the curvaceous look instead. And the tennis champ looked relaxed as she showed off her toned and honed physique, as she emerged from the sea after a cooling dip.
She didn’t seem too bothered either that her non-appearance at the tennis tournament saw her lose her World Tennis Association ranking.

In these new pictures, Serena is toned, slimmer and her dimply thighs are no more. She also appears less muscular, perhaps the result of toned down training due to her recent foot injury.
The top-seeded tennis star was joined on the beach by her friends; the pair basked in glorious weather, with Serena nibbling on food and sipping on a drink.

Later she took to the waters, braving the chilly sea, and made a splash in her mismatched bikini. Serena, who recently celebrated her 40th birthday, has been turning heads as she showcases her new glamorous look.

Serena has been asked how her body image changed over the years.
“When I was young I thought I should be built more like an athlete — long and lean — not with a womanly figure. But then people my age started coming up to me, saying, “I love you because of the way you look.” They could relate to me. That was really motivating,” Serena replied.
