The Argentine has been chose as the best player from last month in the league when he scored 4 goals and produced 6 assists in 4 matches.
Argentinian star Leo Messi has been chosen as the La Liga player of the month from February after playing a key role in Barça’s four wins in four matches.
In those matches the Barça number 10 produced no less than six assists: two against Levante, three against Betis and one against Getafe. At the same time he also scored four goals – all of which came in one game – against Eibar at Camp Nou. As such, Leo Messi played a part in 10 goals, an average of two and a half per game in the month of February, simply extraordinary.
The award will be presented to the player ahead of the game at Camp Nou against Leganés on Sunday 22 March (9.00pm CET).
