He is a painter who paints a masterpiece with his every move. Eminent photographer Radka Leitmeritz also hailed the Swiss maestro as a poetic tennis player.
Federer’s game style comes off as elegant and aesthetic. His smooth movement on the court with fluid ball-strike and fluxion footwork makes him as an artistic player. The Czech photographer Leitmeritz, who captures the realm of aesthetics as to tennis, labeled Roger Federer as her favorite of all, calling him a ‘ballet dancer’.

Leitmeritz has spent her entire career in clicking pictures for the top fashion editorials in the world. However, in recent years, she shifted her base to the tennis court, capturing the interaction between the top tennis stars and the ball. She also explained what makes the photographs of Federer so special.
“I love shooting Roger, he’s like a ballet dancer. He’s just so perfect, how he plays is very photogenic. For me it’s so amazing to be in the photographers’ pit, sometimes I’m thinking what the hell am I doing here,” Leitmeritz told the Baseline Magazine.
She graded Federer’s Australian Open 2020 photo for the Racquet magazine as one of her favorite photos. Her top five tennis images also included the pictures of Barbora Strycova for the Racquet and Petra Kvitova for Elle Magazine Czech Republic.
Federer is certainly unique in stature and millions of Fed-fans around the world consider the 20-time Grand Slam champion as the all-time greatest of the sport. However, every tennis fan enjoys the fluidic, moment-to-moment pleasure of watching him play the game for more than two decades.
