Andy Murray celebrated his Wimbledon triumph at a Mock the Week show – and laughed as comics served up a mickey-taking marathon.
The ace was teased mercilessly after joining the audience for a recording of the topical quiz on Tuesday night.
And the proud new dad ended up admitting he had tried to squeeze his six month-old daughter Sophia into the golden championship trophy after his second Wimbo win.
One joker on the panel – made up of comics Hugh Dennis, Milton Jones, Josh Widdicombe and Miles Jupp and chaired by Dara O’Briain – suggested the British champ had drugged arch rival Novak Djokovic with laxatives for 12 days to secure his early exit.
And another suggested he took an ice bath after his win to Cryogenically freeze his body to await Jokavich’s retirement.
The 33-year-old hero was teased about the rudest thing he has ever done under his towel on court and quizzed about his habit of eating bananas during matches.
And the normally dour Scot was even accused of leafing through The Chilcot Report on the Gulf War between points when pictures were shown of him reading during Sunday’s final.
At one point, the star was asked what he had put into the famous golden Wimbledon trophy and admitted he had tried his baby daughter for size. He laughed: “We tried but she didn’t fit.”
An onlooker sitting close to Andy and Kim at the BBC2 recording said: “Andy was nothing like you’d expect – he was in hysterics the whole time.
“He’s really loosened up since getting the second win under his belt and showed he can take a joke like the best of them.”
It is the second time Andy has turned up for a Mock the Week ribbing after a Wimbledon win.
He was first on the receiving end at a Sport Relief charity edition of the show in March 2014 as contestants let fly with barbs during a round called “What Andy Murray Might Think.”
Andy said at the time: “They didn’t hold back – I knew what I was letting myself in for, though, so I can’t complain. It was a real laugh filming, and trying to keep a straight face.”
The millionaire grand slam hero has let his hair of late and enjoyed a champagne party co-hosted by fellow British tennis star Heather Watson after Sunday’s men’s singles final.
The pair put £50,000 behind the bar at Mayfair’s swish Drama club and partied till 4am, which led to Andy tweeting ruefully the following day: “Rough rough night.”
O’Briain dashed into the audience to present him with a miniature trophy at the end of the recording for being such a good sport.
