Roger Federer and his home routine challenge have been all over social media. His legion of fans has been responding to the challenge with videos of their own.
However, the replication of his challenge wasn’t restricted to the fans. Many tennis stars, football players and even a Hollywood celebrity have responded to his challenge. This includes the likes of Toni Kroos, Novak Djokovic, Hugh Jackman and many others.
However, one star who has been conspicuous by his absence has been the Mallorcan bull, Rafael Nadal. Many fans have been calling on him to respond. Even though Federer had a hilarious interaction with one of his fans even in his absence.
How did Roger Federer interact with Rafael Nadal’s fan?
A Rafa fan responded to Roger’s challenge. However, he decided to push the bar of difficulty one level up for himself.
The particular fan decided to do the challenge while reading a book with a racquet in the other hand. He tagged Roger in his insta story saying that a good reading was always important. However, that was certainly not what piqued Roger’s interest.
The first thing that Roger noticed was the tshirt that the guy was wearing. He was sporting a Rafael Nadal T-shirt with his trademark bull stamp. This is how Roger replied – “Yes true but…. .the shirt??? “
Surely, Roger is ensuring that his fans have a fun time during the quarantine. However, just because Rafa hasn’t responded to Federer yet, doesn’t mean that he isn’t active on social media. Rafa revealed yesterday that he was putting his Roland Garros 2019 T-shirt up for auction. The funds will be utilized to fight the Coronavirus pandemic under an initiative by ACB.

Coronavirus: Roger Federer calls on tennis fans to cheer champions working on the frontline
Eight-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer has addressed tennis fans across the globe, asking them to cheer for new champions this summer.
In a moving letter published by the All-England Club in the wake of this year’s Wimbledon being postponed due to coronavirus, narrator Federer calls for fans to stay positive and look forward to coming together in the future.
The Swiss is 38 and doubtless in the latter stages of his time on the grass courts he has dominated for nearly two decades, but he had a warm message for SW19 fans about the future.
“Since 1877, Wimbledon fans have embraced the Championships. We have watched through multiple types of screen, at all hours of the day and night, descended from afar, even queued… my how you have queued,” he said.
“This summer, sadly, we must come together by staying apart. No tents will be pitched, no records broken, no trophies engraved. But as we say thank you for your passion and support, we remind ourselves that countless champions will be crowned.
“As frontline workers across the globe compete for us, we cheer for them. For now, with play suspended, we are united in hope that tomorrow will be better than today.”
