LeBron James is a man who is not any new to being complimented or respected by others. On a recent Instagram live session, his former teammate Lance Stephenson lauded him as being the man with the best work ethic in the NBA.
LeBron James Is Super Professional
Stephenson played alongside James in the 2018-19 season for the Los Angeles Lakers. Although he didn’t have an illustrious career with the Lakers, he found himself alongside LeBron, a man known for his incredible work ethic and determination.
Lance when asked who he thinks is the hardest working player with the best work ethic in the NBA, he answered:
“I say LeBron. I watched LeBron work out. Super professional. First one on the plane, first one at the meetings, first one at the workout, first one in the gym, he’s first in everything.”
He heaped LeBron with praise while going live with ‘The Score’ on Instagram.
Stephenson And The Infamous Incident With LeBron
It was Game 5 of the 2013-14 Eastern Conference Finals. Stephenson was playing for the Indiana Pacers and LeBron was with the Miami Heat. During stoppage time, Stephenson was caught blowing air into LeBron’s ears for some unknown reason. This moment became viral during that time and the Pacers eventually went on to win that game by three points.
After becoming teammates four years later, Stephenson saw why LeBron James is truly one of the greats of the game.
“I understand why all of his teammates, everybody who ever played with him respects him because he’s the first one at everything. I just picked that up from him. That made me look at the game more different and approach a lot about life different. That experience with him was a great experience because of how he approaches everything about life,” said Stephenson on the IG live.
Stephenson is currently playing for the Liaoning Flying Leopards in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He even guided them to a title in the 2019 East Asia Super League Terrific 12 and was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
