Tie Break Tens format consists of first to ten-point tie break encounters and the rules have been changed in comparison to 2019, with seven elimination clashes en route to the title. The Eisenhower Cup presented by Masimo will begin at 8:00 p.m., with all the tickets selling for $25.

All the earnings from the event will benefit local charities, including Masimo’s Patient Safety Movement, Eisenhower Health, Bighorn Golf Club Charities and Family YMCA of the Desert. Staged at the beautiful Indian Wells Tennis Garden, the first Masters 1000 event of the year will gather all the best players in the world in the quest for 1000 points and notable title claimed by the most prominent competitors of the previous three decades.

INDIAN WELLS, Calif., February 13, 2020 – World No. 2 Rafael Nadal will headline “Rafa & Friends” in the second annual Eisenhower Cup presented by Masimo – a one-night Tie Break Tens event scheduled for Tuesday, March 10 during the 2020 BNP Paribas Open.
Joining the 19-time Grand Slam champion and three-time BNP Paribas Open champion Nadal will be the defending BNP Paribas Open champion, World No. 4 and 2020 Australian Open finalist Dominic Thiem; World No. 5 and 2019 US Open finalist Daniil Medvedev; World No. 8 and 2019 Nitto ATP Finals Qualifier Matteo Berrettini; World No. 13 and three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka; 2020 Australian Open quarterfinalist and 2019 Eisenhower Cup Champion Milos Raonic; 22-year-old American Taylor Fritz; and one additional player still to be announced. The Eisenhower Cup will be a $150,000 winner-take-all event held in Stadium 2 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

The fast-paced, innovative Tie Break Tens format consists of first to ten-point tie break matches. The event will be an eight-player single elimination draw, with a total of seven matches being held during the course of the evening.
