Novak Djokovic threatens fan, saying “I’ll find you… Trust me..!”
World No. 1 in men’s singles tennis legend, Novak Djokovic ought to be preparing for his match against Denis Kudla in the third round of the US Open 2019, but somehow became twisted with a fan whose identity is yet to be determined.
This whole hiccup between Novak Djokovic and the unknown fan happened during his warm-up session. The tennis legend was seen in a video captured by a fan while practicing his serve, when he suddenly stops mid motion to confront someone in the group of watchers behind him.
Obviously, the fan uttered some provocative words that struck the world tennis No.1, which compelled him to look back and engage himself in an unnecessary conversation.

To many that were watching, the reaction of Novak Djokovic shocked them. The defending tennis world No.1 was heard threatening the fan and saying, “I’ll find you after the match…. Trust me, I’ll come find you..!”
The unknown fan was later accompanied from the ground, by security personnel. As if that was not enough, Novak Djokovic, continued to chase him, while he was being ushered away and was seen asking for a photograph of the person for future reference, as he finally returned to practice.
It is still unclear what provocation caused the shocking reaction from Novak Djokovic. Djokovic had delayed his pre-match warm up by 3 hours and there was a big doubt over his fitness for the match against Kudla, after injury concerns on his left shooulder. However, despite the delay and the shortened practice session, Novak Djokovic was in impeccable form against the American, and looked to have put the event in the back of his head.

However, the threatening reaction from Novak Djokovic, was not taken in good light by many tennis fans on twitter, who hit back at the world number one for his cold behavior.
Many fans even compared his actions to Nick Kyrgios, and called for equal treatment, when it comes to scrutinizing questionable behaviors. It would be interesting, to find out what prompted Novak Djokovic to behave the way he did in front of all his fans and supporters.
