We’re pretty sure that all of you might have had time to think of some alternative career options during the quarantine, like our favourite tennis stars Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.
There’s so much time on hand that fantasizing what our life would’ve been if we had gone for Plan B is a great way for passing time for many of us.
Recently, Djokovic and Murray went live on Instagram. The two talked for over one hour during which they talked about almost everything possible.
However, one of the fan questions made the two divulge some interesting details.
The two answered a question asking them to reveal their alternative career options. In other words, in what occupation would the two engage if not for tennis. The answers would surely surprise you.
What are the alternative professions for Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray?
Novak Djokovic was the first one to answer. Interestingly, Novak revealed that he was actually a science freak.
“Well, I would probably stay in sports. Because, I come from a family of you know, athletes. My dad was playing football and professional skier as well, so I’d probably stay in sports.
But, even though I do love Science. So I’d probably love to be a scientist of some kind.”
This would come as a shock to many after Novak Djokovic got really close to defending the anti-vaccination stand. Science definitely didn’t seem like his strong subject, as per some of his detractors.
Talking about Andy Murray, he was pretty happy to reveal his early ambitions of being a footballer.
Certainly not a surprise, considering the popularity of the sport in England. However, the bigger talking point was his second alternative career option.
“I’ve always said footballer. I always fancied myself as a bit of a footballer but like right now, it’d be pretty cool to be a doctor because you can’t realize what is important in times like these.
It’d be pretty good to actually be able to help other people as well.”
We would definitely like to see them pursue these interesting and motivated ambitions of theirs some day.
