The American claimed the second spot in the list of the Top-10 most tweeted about female athletes in 2020. Eyeing to equal Margaret Court’s record of winning 24 major championships, Williams has lost in her last four Grand Slam final appearances.
Williams’ long-time rival, Maria Sharapova, grabbed the 7th spot on the list. Despite having retired in February this year, Sharapova continues to be one of the most talked-about female athletes on Twitter.
