The legendary Grand slams Champion twerked her way into the stadium and documented it all on Snapchat.
The twerking fan proved once again that she knows a thing or two about shaking her famous derriere and had fans delighted over her giddiness.

However, it wasn’t all fun and dancing as Serena’s night didn’t get off to a great start when she had to sit on the bus en route to the stadium.
A frustrated Serena shared the ups and downs of the ceremony with her followers, including moaning that she had been stuck on the USA team coach for “six or seven hours”.
The athlete explained from the bus: “So I don’t mean to be Debbie Downer or a Serena Downer, but I’m kind of ready to go.
“I’m really tired, I’m overwhelmed,” she added.

“We’ve been on the bus for what seems like six or seven hours I’m cold and now I understand we have another three hours,” she said before posting another Snap of her ‘hungry face’.
But when she eventually made it inside the arena Serena was elated and gushed: “We are in the opening ceremonies, this is so cool!”
She enjoyed the ceremony alongside her fellow US teammates before eventually posting another Snap of her in bed.

“I had the best time tonight,” Serena told her followers: “And I’m just so happy to be part of this great team, so good night everyone.”
