Venus Williams showed off her long legs
Yesterday, tennis legend Venus Williams said her final goodbyes to Australia and didn’t fail to leave with a major fashion inspiration to fans. Williams took to her Instagram story to put up a killer leggy display.
The four-time Olympic gold medalist rocked a gorgeous turquoise skirt that she wore underneath a grey sweater with a V-neck and blue, white, and grey triangular patterns at the sleeves area.
Wearing her signature fringe hairstyle, Williams kept safe with a patterned facemask that matched the sweater and short skirt ensemble. She finished off the look with a pair of simple white sneakers.
In her hands, the tennis player held two colorful chic bags. One was a cute nude handbag with red and black stripes, while the other was a blue tote bag with a water bottle in it. She held her identity cards and a white visor cap too.
The 40-year-old posed by the staircase with her left legs pushed forward slightly while the sun sweetly kissed her silky skin. In the caption, Williams wished Australia goodbye and promised to return next year.
Although living with Sjögren’s syndrome, Williams has often proved that nothing would bring her down.
Williams opened up about the defeat in an emotional Instagram post. The renowned athlete posted two images that saw her limping while on the court and got candid about the loss, writing:
“You can’t always prepare for the triumph or the disaster in sports or in life. You can’t control it all. What you can control is how you handle the ups and the downs.”
Williams concluded, assuring her beloved fans that she had no regret giving it her all on the court and promised to focus on the future.
Although living with Sjögren’s syndrome, Williams has often proved that nothing would bring her down. After her diagnosis in 2011, many thought she would retire from the game she and her sister Serena have championed.
Yet, she persevered, giving a hundred percent and more at every game. Away from the court, Williams is a seasoned entrepreneur with two businesses, fashion brand EleVen by Venus Williams and an interior decor company, V Starr Interiors.
