“Andy Murray Watches More Women´s Tennis Than I Do”: Serena Williams Reveals

Serena Williams was particularly inspired for her press conference held after winning her debut match at the 2015 French Open. “I defended the points I conquered last year” said Serena laughing to the journalists.
In fact, the American was ousted in the second round by Garbine Muguruza. “I love coming back to Paris, and I always look forward for the tournament. Since I now live at times here, I feel like it is my second home. I suggest people places to go, I know restaurants, shops, I like it a lot.
My elbow is still not 100% but the good thing is that it keeps getting better and better every day. I have a day off tomorrow, so I am confident it will get better and hopefully I will manage to win more match and advance to the third round”.
A third round would probably mean a clash against Vika Azarenka for Serena, but as the American revealed more than once, she doesn’t like to look at draws.
“I just get too stressed about it. I then focus on just one player and on how to beat her and I end up not doing well. So no, I don’t look at draws. Even last year, when I was called to shuffle the draw I pulled men’s names and then I left”.
Serena was then asked if she feels there is a man on the ATP tour who she believes is a great supporter of women’s tennis.
“Andy Murray definitively is the greatest support of women and of women’s tennis. You know, I was very impressed in a positive way when he hired Amelie Mauresmo.
Andy is definitively very active on Twitter and supports all players indistinctly. He watches more women’s tennis than I do, and that makes me feel bad. He is inspiring”.
