Hello Alice, a technology platform for business owners, has announced its latest funding and mentoring program called Business for All, which will feature amongst others tennis legend Serena Williams, who is also an investor in Hello Alice, and actor-turned-entrepreneur Gwyneth Paltrow, according to Inc.com.
Others mentors who are part of the program include fashion entrepreneur Rebecca Minkoff, actress Kristen Bell, Lisa Price, Phyllis Newhouse and Jean Case.
The Business for All programme is open to anyone, but it has “a special focus” on women, people of color, LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs with disabilities, and those affiliated with the military and entrepreneurs can apply themselves, or be nominated by others.
The programme will provide $200,000 in grants, starting from $10,000 to $50,000 and mentorship opportunities will be available to up to 100,000 entrepreneurs. Business for All is the work of Hello Alice cofounders Carolyn Rodz and Elizabeth Gore.
Since it was started in 2016, Hello Alice has more than 100,000 users, Speaking to Forbes, Rodz says, “There are over 40 million small businesses in America with 550,000 new small businesses starting every month. The new majority is the fastest growing segment of small business owners.
They’re exponentially increasing in numbers. We map out resources [on Hello Alice] from across the ecosystem, opportunities for funding, mentorship, network educational opportunities,” Rodz says. “When an entrepreneur comes through, a series of step-by-step guides shows them the resources relevant to them, based on who they are and the type of company they’re growing”.

Other celebrities who have appeared as guest judges last season include Rachel Brosnahan, Cyndi Lauper, Leslie jones, Lindsay Vonn, Kiernan Shipka Y Laverne Cox.
