World No. 2 Rafael Nadal has posted a message on his Twitter account, saying that he is continuing to remain active while being in quarantine and urges others to do the same as well.
The Spaniard posted a message of him working out while being at home with the message, “We continue at home [Winking face] You have to stay active [💪🏻] #yomequedoencasa #iostoacasa #jerestechezmoi #istayhome Nadal has been updating his fans with messages on how he has been spending time during the quarantine.
Last week, he posted an update of himself exercising with rubber bands and earlier he had shown himself cooking for his wife as well.
The Spaniard has won 19 Grand Slam singles titles in his career and is ranked No.
2 in the world currently, behind Novak Djokovic. He needs only one more Grand Slam to equal Roger Federer for the most number of Grand Slam singles titles won by any male tennis player in history. He is also working with other Spanish athletes to raise funds for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Saturday, he appeared in the La Liga festival where several musicians and athletes appeared on the online music festival where they were also able to raise funds. Spain is one of the countries most badly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, especially Madrid where the lockdown measures continue to be in place. Europe is one of the epicenters of the COVID-19 pandemic.
