It’s fight week!
The much-anticipated lightweight title fight is nearly upon us. On September 7th in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, reigning UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov defends his belt against interim champ Dustin Poirier, in what should be a magnificent contest. The co-main event pits Edson Barboza and Paul Felder against each other once again, as Felder looks to even the score with his fellow striker.
Rounding out the PPV portion of the card is an intriguing lightweight battle between grapplers Islam Makhachev and Davi Ramos, heavyweights Curtis Blaydes and Shamil Abdurakhimov, and lightweights Diego Ferreira and Mairbek Taisumov.
There’s a special start time because of the time-zone difference, so the opening prelims begin at 10:15 AM ET, with the main card at 2 PM ET.
