Serena Williams and her friends performed on Blackbear’s ‘Hot Girl Bummer’ as a part of one of their training regimes at the Patrick Mouratoglou’s academy.
Serena Williams gave her fans a sneak peek into the preparations she made at the Mouratoglou Academy before the 2020 season. The American tennis ace took boxing lessons from Mike Tyson. Serena Williams gets boxing lessons from Mike Tyson
Last year, the Mouratoglou Academy team saw two of world sport’s all-time greats participate in a boxing training session. Serena Williams visited the Mouratoglou Academy in Boca Raton to train for the new season. That is where she was handed boxing lessons by Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson shared an Instagram post and captioned the image saying that he doesn’t want to get in the ring with this GOAT (Greatest Of All Time, referring to Serena Williams).
Serena Williams’ hot girl bummer dance
During the Australian Open, a video of Serena and her mates went viral on Instagram. It was also played on the big screen at the Rod Laver Arena. The dance routine performed by the American on Blackbear’s Hot Girl Bummer was one of the training regimes at Patrick Mouratoglou’s academy.
Speaking about her dance performance, she said (at the Australian Open), “I always dance. I’m not the best dancer, but I love to dance. It’s nice and fun to do. It’s different and better than just going to the gym every day. At some point, you do have to go to the gym. I just try to do different things.”

“I’m Biased For Obvious Reasons” – Serena Williams on American Tennis’ Future
Team USA has earned their tickets to the Fed Cup Finals 2020 in Budapest, Hungary with Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Sofia Kenin’s victory over Latvia’s Jelena Ostapenko and Anastasija Sevastova. And USA’s tennis icon Serena Williams won and lost a match for her team.
With Serena venturing into her fourth decade and playing against at least four different generations on the WTA Tour, she pleased to witness the upcoming faces of American tennis. It’s a pleasure to share the courts with them.
“It’s great. I’m always so excited to see young American players do well,” she shared. “I’m a little bit biased for obvious reasons. It’s always super exciting to play among the future of tennis, to know that it’s going to be a really strong flag they’re carrying. It’s pretty cool.”
“I‘m the ultimate veteran” – Serena Williams
Williams was asked about being a ‘veteran’ in the sport and having carried the flag of American tennis for more than 24 years on the WTA circuit.
“Obviously with the ‘veterans’ it’s kind of hard because it’s, like, wait, I’m the ultimate veteran. I feel like they’re the young ones as well (laughter). It’s always great. The whole team is really, really fantastic. It’s fun,” she added.
Williams turned professional in October 1995 and made her Grand Slam breakthrough at US Open 1999 as a 17-year-old. She has played against different ages of tennis and nurtured her game accordingly.
Beginning from Steffi Graf, Lindsay Davenport, Dinara Safina, Francesca Schiavone, Simona Halep and till Bianca Andreescu, she has given a tough fight against each one. And she still continues to produce the finest form of her tennis. Amongst the active, she has the highest number of WTA titles, 73 and counting.
The American ace Williams stays on the fifth position on the list of all-time singles titles won by the WTA women. Also, she is the only active player on the list of top-ten highest singles-title holders of the women’s tour.
