Serena Williams is on a horse! The tennis champ and fashion designer finally took a one-day vacation from her busy life – and she used it to the fullest. First, Williams, sat poolside in an itsy-bitsy bikini that showed off her impressive back muscles and slim waist.
“And the girl who never took a vacation took one day off…and then she came back,” the 23-time grand slam winner captioned the photo. Then Williams went horseback riding – in a high-cut yellow one-piece, in the ocean.
Williams had a busy New York Fashion Week, where she showed her new fall collection. She previously said that balancing it all is “a lot” of work, but totally worth it.
“I’ve played Wimbledon, I played the Open, I’m playing tournaments in between [designing],” Williams said. “When you work on the shows it’s not like it takes two weeks. It’s a four, five, sixth month commitment. It was a lot of preparation. All of the looks – pairing it, first, last, finale, middle… music. It was a lot!”
Though she’s currently balancing her love of fashion with her quest to win a record-breaking 24 grand slam titles, Williams says designing full-time is in her future.
“In five years, I’m on a boat or an island, sketching the latest collection,” she told SELF. “Maybe there’s a baby, maybe a couple, we’ll see.”
